The provenance research into the period 1933-1945 has not revealed any indications suggesting possible involuntary loss of ownership.

De herkomstgeschiedenis van dit serapishoofd en deze armband in de periode 1933-1945 is sluitend. De objecten werden in 1921 gekocht door kunsthandel Bachstitz in Den Haag uit de collectie van Fr. L. von Gans uit Frankfurt am Main. Kunsthandel Bachstitz verkocht ze in mei 1941 aan H. Posse, de inkoper van het beoogde Führermuseum in Linz. De restitutiecommissie heeft bij deze transactie geen aanwijzingen gevonden voor gedwongen verkoop. [nl]
